In this bridal collection, I created gowns with the intention of materializing my complex relationship to love and commitment. The gowns follow a delicate and adorned nature but also follows older construction techniques like corset backs and wide tiered skirts. When starting this project, I reflected on what my ideal gown would be if I was having my ideal wedding tomorrow. Even when imaging this enchanting situation, there still were fears and knee jerk reactions when placing myself in this fantasy realm. This exploration inspired the collection and the story surrounding it.
